1000/1000

I literally fought through Fight Night Round 3 to get all 1000 gamerscore. Now all I need to do with that game is to practice so I can last more than a round in online fights.

I am also getting close to completing NCAA Football 08 and I only have a handful of achievements left. It might take me a couple of days since two of the achievements are going from 1* to 6* and the 5 INT achievement. I'm going to use a FAQ to get those two achievements. Once I get those I'll foray into online games so if you think you're good enough to beat me, send me an invite!

Since no one posted any comments while I was gone, I ended up giving the two XBLA games away to Gamertag Radio forum members.

I just started my GameFly subscription and Madden 08 was the first game they sent me so I'll be hammering through that this weekend. Any suggestions on what game I should play next? I'm thinking of getting NHL 08 but all the good word I've heard about The Orange Box might get me to rent that next.

NBA Star Gilbert Arenas caught cheating in Halo 3

Arenas had his XBL profile looked up through bungie.net and was caught boosting. He joins a game with other XBL accounts and then quits them to boost XP.

Hawaii

Off to Hawaii this weekend so this update will do until I return. The contest below will still be active. I may just give the codes to the first person that posts a comment...and speaking of free crap. The Yaris game dropped on XBLA today and well, at least you can get 200 gamerscore out of it if you can stand to play the game that long. I picked up an easy 10 points from 2 achievements in about 10 minutes of play. I may go back to it if I get really bored.

I've taken a small break from Halo 3 to concentrate on knocking out some games. I made substantial progress in Fight Night Round 3 this past week as I'm up to 750 gamerscore on that game. I'm really enjoying the game but I can only play the game for an hour or two since the controls just end up killing my hands but it's so much fun.

Halo 3: I has plasma grenade

Mas Halo 3

Needless to say the only thing I played last week was Halo 3. I still suck at the multiplayer aspect of the game but I'm getting better. I can now kill 5-6 people a match whereas before I would only kill 2-3 people. That's remarkable improvement in my book. I've taken to sneaking around a sniping people and now that I think of it, that's probably why I get killed so much...I'm walking around like a sitting duck...*pew* I'm dead.

I'm about half way through the single player campaign and I'm having a blast with that. The story is pretty good and the action is even better. I'll have to "finish the fight" this week and then start up on co-op and searching for skulls. Of course, there will be hours of multiplayer in there.

Most of my achievements from Halo have come from the campaign. I'll probably have to play through the campaign a couple of times to get all the of the achievements.
