Chris W Bosh - Send Me To New Orleans All Star Game 2008
I think all candidates for the NBA All-Star Game should create a video like this.
Video game news and random stuff I've found on the Internets and in life

I normally don't make fun of people's last names but this one is just too good. I do feel sorry for the guy because I'm sure he got the hell teased out of him in grade school but he did choose to go to UCLA so I can't feel all that bad.
I present to you Mr. Suksomwong.

South Korean scientists have cloned cats with a fluorescent gene that makes them glow in the dark. As if cats weren't creepy enough in the dark...I'd hate to wake up in the middle of the night to find my cat glowing at me.

The Orioles are finally making some moves to improve their team for the future. They traded Miguel Tejada to the Astros for outfielder Luke Scott, pitchers Matt Albers, Troy Patton and Dennis Sarfate, and third baseman Michael Costanzo.
I'm only familiar with Luke Scott and he'll be pretty solid in Camden but he's 30 years old. The other guys I'm unfamiliar with but Troy Patton and Mike Costanzo appear to be solid prospects. It's just surprising that this is all the Orioles could get for Tejada. I wish him luck in Houston but I'm glad to see him and his contract gone from the Orioles. Now, I wonder what the O's will get for Erik Bedard.

I've always been one for the more simplistic design of things so I'm not surprised I like the Triforce tree more than the Pac Man tree.

Woot or for the l33t folks, w00t, is your 2007 Word of the Year according to Merriam-Webster. I don't know how this got to be the word of the year, but I'm betting on someone hacking their website. I don't recall any specific instances where this word ever got in to the mainstream culture. To me, it's just a word that those on the Internets use. I have no problem with the word but if I had a say, sardoodledom would be this year's word. I haven't a clue what it means but it sounds insulting. While you're out there on the Internets, here's the history of the word woot.

Yet another missile launcher this week. If they can only combine all the features (wireless, laser, webcam) in to one then they'll have the ultimate office weapon.

Apparently the good folks at the RIAA think that most of us are pirates. They're saying that the music we rip from the CDs we own and put on our computers or iPods is unauthorized. The RIAA needs to hire some people that have some sort of common sense.

I don't own a BlackBerry but we're got enough of them at work that this article got my interest. I've never bought in to the theory that you need a special cleaning rag or spray for your electronics so I'm quite happy that all my attempts to get my hardware shiny again have not been a waste of time. Read the story for the review of the official BlackBerry screen cleaner.

I'm hoping that Dream Cheeky will sell the detachable webcam separately because I've already got the missile launcher. I can already see myself setting this back up in the office. The only downside of the missile launcher is that it doesn't exactly sneak up on anyone. It has to sit there and "wind up" for a couple of seconds before it launches the missile. It's still great fun, nonetheless. Now, about the laser pointer attachment...

Gizmodo ran through the Divx/XviD support on the Xbox 360 today and I'm pleased to hear that it works and it's nearly perfect. I guess I've got myself a little project tonight to set up my desktop PC to share media to the 360 again. All this means is that I can move my original XBox somewhere else and do something else with it. Anyone got any ideas?
